The European Values Study has contributed to a wide and diverse body of publications over the course of its history. The EVS provides a unique source of data for understanding how Europeans think about a broad range of social, political, religious and cultural issues. Its data have been used by researchers across disciplines to examine differences and similarities between countries, as well as changes in European values over time.

This section brings together a selection of these publications. The EVS Publications overview provides access to books and other work related to the study, while the European Values Series brings together scholarly volumes dedicated to the analysis and interpretation of European values. The Atlas of European Values offers another perspective, presenting patterns and differences across Europe through maps, visualisations and accessible interpretations of EVS findings. It shows the similarities and differences between the citizens of 46 European countries and provides insights into long-term trends by presenting data from 1981-2017. Together, these publications demonstrate the many ways in which EVS data can be used to study European societies. They provide resources for researchers and students, document key developments in the field, and make this knowledge accessible to a wider audience.
