The Council European Bishops’ Conferences (CCEE) organized the Joint Meeting of the Sections of the CCEE Youth Commission in which representatives participated. During this meeting, the session on 20.09 focused on the topic “Young people and Europe: Labours, Resources, Hopes” with the following speakers: Prof. VERA LOMAZZI University of Bergamo/ European Values Study, Dr. PAUL METZLAFF, Head of the German Church Youth Ministry, Dr. EMILIO DOGLIANI, European Community Youth Policy Expert COMECE.
The meeting took place in Santiago de Compostela on 19-22 September, 2024.
In this occasion, Vera Lomazzi presented the European Values Study and used EVS data to present values of Young Europeans in the context of the permacrises. A copy of the Atlas of European Values has been donated to H.E. Msgr. GINTARAS GRUŠAS, Archbishop of Vilnius & CCEE President.
