To meet its goal of optimal availability of EVS data to the scientific community, EVS charges a Data Archive with the task of data preservation and dissemination. 

The Data Archive makes the EVS data available to the worldwide scientific community using state-of-the-art distribution technologies, licensing models, and documentation standards. The Data Archive further applies state-of-the-art measures for the digital long-term preservation of all relevant materials submitted by EVS.

All EVS data products are made available thanks to the data archive at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences. A representative of the data archive is ex-ufficio member of the Executive Committee.
