Changing Work Values: Beyond Hustle Culture

The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered profound shifts in how we view work, with concepts like the “Great Resignation,” “quiet quitting,” and “quiet thriving” becoming more prevalent. As individuals increasingly search for meaning and balance in their careers, the desire to align professional success with personal well-being is reshaping the workplace landscape.

This evolving dynamic brings about new challenges and opportunities for organizations, labor unions, and policymakers. To navigate these changes effectively, we need to rethink how we support employee well-being, happiness, and work-life integration.
